Expectant mother Chynna Ortaleza just threw a baby shower and held a maternity shoot of your dreams!
Chynna, who’s soon to welcome her baby boy whom they already named Salem, hosted a library-inspired baby shower held at Tweedle Book Cafe in Quezon,City last Sunday, July 14.
The actress and her husband, musician Kean Cipriano, welcomed the guests into their lovely venue which was production-designed to look like an old library. Guests were instantly transported into an old-world scene and can almost smell the scent of slowly-decomposing books.
It was decorated with fresh white flowers, candles in different sizes, black and yellow balloons, a huge bookshelf full of good reads, vintage chandeliers, and topped it all off with miniature owls hanging on the ceiling or near the shelves.
Present at the event were celebrities Ryza Cenon, Isabel Oli along with her husband John Prats, Sheena Halili and her fiance Jeron Manzanero, plus a few other close friends and relatives.
Chynna announced that they are expecting another baby in their family during this year’s Easter. Baby Salem is the second child of the couple following their three-year-old little girl Stellar.
After celebrating the arrival of their baby boy, the 36-year-old artist shared her oh-so-beautiful maternity shoot which also followed the bibliotheque theme.
The dreamy shoot was taken inside a room full of books that her late father Gryk Ortaleza left with her.
Chynna even remembered her papa through her Instagram post which included her maternity photos, writing, “Papa. You never really left. I feel your energy in every book that you left in my care. The boy in my womb will be born into this wealth of literature. May I be able to pass down your unending romance with books to your grandchild. Overwhelmed but Hopeful. ~Lara Serena~.”
On a separate post, Chynna proudly showed her Stellar being a scene stealer as she sported her little plaid dress and shiny small boots.
And the last two photos that Chynna posted on her feed was with her husband. They were sitting down with scattered books and lamps on the floor as they hold a huge vintage mirror.
