StarStruck's Kim de Leon and Radson Flores, Clashers Jeremiah Tiangco and Thea Astley sign contract with GMA Artist Center

GMA Artist Center, the talent management and development agency of GMA Network, has introduced four new addition to its roster of talented Kapuso artists. 

Yesterday, March 10, four up and coming stars, discovered from two of GMA’s reality-talent competitions, were formally introduced as Artist Center's new talents as they each signed their respective managerial contracts with them. The formal contract-signing was held at the Executive Lounge of GMA Network.

These new artists are Kim de Leon and Radson Flores who were both from the artista search StarStruck Season 7; and Jeremiah Tiangco and Thea Astley of the singing competition, The Clash Season 2.

After the contract signing, the StarStruck Season 7 Ultimate Male Survivor Kim de Leon shared his excitement for his upcoming shows and promised to maximize his potentials in his projects.

“We look forward to our upcoming shows and we promise to give our very best," Kim said. 

The Batangueno young actor also expressed confidence with the network which also honed and groomed his StarStruck predecessors such as Jennylyn Mercado [season 1], Mike Tan [season 2], Kris Bernal [season 4], and more.

"Alam naman namin na maaalagaan kaming mabuti sa GMA kaya sobrang thankful kami," Kim added.

StarStruck Season 7 finalist Radson Flores seconded what Kim stated and shared he felt overjoyed knowing that he will still be working with the network.

Sobrang grateful kami kasi GMA gave us a chance nakaka-overwhelm na maging part ng Kapuso family," the 19-year-old actor from Taguig City expressed.

Meanwhile, The Clash Season 2 Grand Champion Jeremiah Tiangco shared how happy he is and even reminisced on his journey from being an aspirant singer to a talent- competition grand champion. 

Sobrang saya po and overwhelming," Jeremiah said, "nakakamiss po ‘yung auditions at ‘yung naging journey po namin sa The Clash. Ngayon po, sobrang saya ko po dahil official talent na po ako ng GMA.”

He even went to social media to thank everyone who supported him from the time he joined The Clash audition until now that he is one of GMA7's singers.

"Unang-una po sa lahat, gusto kong magpasalamat sa panginoong sa mga biyaya niya na binigay at ipinaranas sakin, simula pa noong The Clash hanggang ngayon," Jeremiah said in his post yesterday, March 10, that came with a photo seemingly taken after the contract singing ceremonies. 

"Salamat din po sa mga tao na patuloy naniniwala sakin. Isa din po kayo sa dahilan kung bakit ako nandito sa posisyon na ito. Mahal ko kayo lalo na sa @The Clash family din po!! Maraming salamat po sainyo!"

The 22-year-old pop heartthrob also thanked the GMA Artist Center as well as his home network, GMA, for the blessings and trust.

"Salamat GMA Artist Center & GMA Network sa tiwala niyo po sakin," Jeremiah continued. "Hinding Hindi ko po kayo bibiguin at syempre hindi mangyayare to kundi dahil kay Ms. @Joy Marcelo, Sir Simon and kay mama Robert Dela Cruz Mendoza thank you po sainyo!!

The Cavite-native singer also dedicated his achievement to his family.

"Sa family ko!! Mahal na mahal ko kayo!! Pra sainyong lahat to."

Jeremiah's fellow Clasher Thea Astley, for her part, shared how grateful she is for the people she met during the competition.

Hindi naman po namin in-expect na from The Clash, makakarating kami rito," Thea shared. "Kaya sobrang ipinagpapasalamat po talaga namin and especially right now na pumirma na po kami ng contract, hindi po namin makakalimutan lahat ng taong nasa likod ng The Clash na tumulong at gumabay sa amin.”

The Clash Season 2 first runner-up also expressed on social media how grateful she is for all the blessings she has been receiving.

"Blessings upon blessings upon blessings," Thea said on Instagram post today, March 11. "I can never express enough how thankful I am to the Lord and to my dearest family for the opportunities that are being presented to me and for introducing me to people who believe in me."

The R&B singer and writer from Doha, Qatar also thanked the GMA Artist Center management as well as her The Clash family that brought her to where she is now.

"Thank you to GMA Artist Center, Ms. Joy Marcelo, Sir Simoun Ferrer, Ms. Diana Evangelista, Firestarters Productions, Tito Jon Versoza, and Tita Silvia Malupeng for placing your trust in me. 

"And of course, my sincerest bow of gratitude goes to everyone from The Clash, without you, none of this would be possible. ⁣

"There is still so much more to work to explore, people to meet, and music to create. I hope you guys will hang on with me in this journey," Thea concluded.

Present during the contract signing ceremonies were Thea Astley’s co-managers Hilarion K. Verzosa III and Silvia B. Malupeng, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Joy Marcelo and GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer who expressed eagerness to work with their new talent.

“We are glad and honored to have more rising artists hone their talents with GMA," Simoun Ferrer said.  "The whole team is excited to showcase all their potentials and maximize what they have to offer.”

At present, the four Kapuso stars are regular performers of GMA's top-rating musical-comedy-variety show, All-Out Sundays [AOS].
