The ABS-CBN network released a new song titled "Tinig Ng Mga Nawalan" featuring the voices of powerhouse loveteam KathNiel, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, and Kapamilya employees last Monday, August 31.
The song pays tribute to the media giant's reporters, celebrities, and other employees, including those who have been retrenched as caused by the network's franchise denial by the House committee last July 10.
People from different parts of society were also featured in the music video.
The launching of the song is part of ABS-CBN's brand new campaign called "Lingkod Ng Isa't Isa" wherein, according to the broadcast giant, "celebrates the grit, tenacity, and resilience of every Filipino in transcending ordeals and painful losses, while still being able to help uplift other people’s lives.”
It is under the production of ABS-CBN Creative Communications Management (CCM), which was one of the subsidiaries shut down due to the franchise denial, along with regional stations, FM radio MOR 101.9, and the network's sports unit.
Effective August 31, mant members of ABS-CBN's 11,000 employees have been laid off because of the franchise denial.
