The Makati-based band recently crossed out another milestone in their music career as they finally signed their contract with Viva Executive Vice President for Music Group Verb del Rosario last Tuesday, August 13, at the Viva Communications office in Pasig City.

N’ong una pa lang kasi kami hindi naman kami naghahanap ng big company, gusto lang talaga namin tumugtog.” says bassist Jude Daluz.

He adds: “Ang deciding factor talaga kaya we went with Viva kasi because of our album. Kasi we believe na malaki ’yong potential ng album especially if we partnered with Viva.”

When asked about what they felt after signing with Viva, drummer Kyle Tessalano says: “Nakakatakot and at the same time exciting since ngayon lang naman kami pipirma and big step para sa amin lahat ito.”

Vocalist Alyssa admits she felt overwhelmed signing with a huge company. But all members agree that it is a push for them to finally move forward in their musical journey.

In their three years in the music industry, their listeners truly loved how they could marry  heartbreaking lyrics with sounds hinting of jazz, pop, blues, and even Japanese rock. And that’s what makes their music unique compared to all the sad songs you hear today.

We will hear more of their refreshing songs through their debut album, Sino Nagsabing Takot Ako Sa Dilim. Their launch will be tonight, August 16, at 12 Monkey’s Music Hall & Pub, Ortigas.
