Kapamilya actress Angel Locsin directly warned one particular Twitter user that she would trace him if he continues to flood the actress’ page with bashing.

The online debacle started with Angel’s open letter, which she posted on her social media accounts on Wednesday, July 1.

In her letter, the “real-life Darna” questioned the government's action in “prioritizing” to shutdown her home TV network, renaming the airport, and passing the anti-terror bill than working to address some of the more pressing concerns such as unemployment, health crisis, online schooling, balik-probinsya program, stranded and jobless OFWs, and more.

She even signed the open letter as “Taxpayer.”

On the same day on Twitter, one Netizen with the username @Ciama28 posted a tweet addressed to The General’s Daughter lead actress.

“Have you heard about the House Bill (HB) No. 6815 or the Accelerated Recovery and Investments Stimulus for the Economy of the Philippines (ARISE Philippines)?” he asked. “The is supposed to be passed now if not because of ABS-CBN franchise hearing.” (sic)

The same Netizen also suggested that the actress first review House Bill No. 6920 or the COVID-19 Unemployment Reduction Economic Stimulus (CURES) Act of 2020.

Angel, for her part, replied that she is aware of House Bill No. 6815 and that should, in fact, be the congress’ priority than shutting down a TV company.

“Yes,” the actress responded. “If this is such an important bill, it should be prioritized then. Instead of focusing on shutting down abs & cutting the life support of the people relying on it, giving support to the economic needs of the people should be prioritize. Ironic, isn’t it?”

The Netizen rebutted by posting a screenshot photo of his own tweet—this time using a different profile photo—saying she should question her ABS-CBN bosses instead before calling out the Congress for her “unwarranted whinings.”

The statement on the screenshot photo reads: “@143redangel your network was shutdown because its franchise has expired & instead of you doing your unwarranted whinnings, better tell your bosses to prove everything right. Instead of proving, you guys are yowling. Ironic, isn't it? That's all my all time fave actress :)”

The actress corrected the Netizen, whom she addressed as “informed folk,” by saying that the ARISE bill was set aside in congress to give way to the ABS-CBN franchise hearing.

“Fyi, informed folk,” wrote Angel. “ARISE bill was approved last June on it’s 3rd reading, so the problem is not our call for ABS-CBN franchise. Maybe  you’re not so informed after all?”

The Netizen said that the TV/movie star did not fully understand his tweet, which he said was in fact about the congress opting to prioritize the ABS-CBN franchise hearing over other more important issues.

“No, you failed to understand the nitty-gritty of the tweet, but thanks for doing your readings. Point here is, you want the gov’t to focus on pandemic, so why interposed ABS-CBN issues? @143redangel please don’t get me wrong.”

The ABS-CBN actress then spelled out the “irony” in the Netizen’s stance.

“The irony here is that you’re pushing for ARISE for those who are suffering economically, but you’re against defending jobs of ABS-CBN workers,” Angel tweeted. “How contradicting! This is my last reply since you obviously do not know what you’re saying. Take care.”

The Netizen did not stop there. He said that the actress was being a hypocrite in her stand on labor and economic issues as she is defending the jobs of her home network’s workers but she remains “silent” in terms of labor violations within her TV company.

“What’s more contradicting is the fact that you’re trying to defend the jobs of ABS-CBN workers, but you’re silent to the labor issues your network is facing,” the Netizen said.  “If it isn’t hypocrisy then I don’t know what that is @143redangel Take care, Darna!”

On his follow up tweet, the Netizen clarified that he is not against the actress’ action to protect her Kapamilyas.

“I am not against defending the ABS-CBN employees my dear @143redangel,” @Ciama28 continued. “[W]hat I’m against is the fact that you put all the blame to the gov’t where in fact it’s the perfect time for you to call out your bosses to answer all the allegations to the injustices inside your network.”

This time, instead of addressing the Netizen's accusation, Angel slammed him for using fake accounts and threatened him that she would look for him to press charges against him if he won't stop.

“Kuya girl, we all know this account is fake plus you are handing different account," the actress said on her tweet that came with screenshot photos showing @Ciama28’s several usernames and profiles on different social media platforms.

She added: “Let me give you a heads up, if you don’t stop flooding my page with nonsense, I will trace you and tap your employer, your family, anything. So please just stop. Thank you.”

The Netizen fought back by pointing another irony on Angel’s part.

“I found this chucklesome @143redangel because you’re fighting for those people who lose their job, but you’re threatening someone to lose his employment just because you differ on ideas. Remember, you did not continue w/ the fake death threat case. I hope you start there.”

On Facebook last night, July 2, one netizen—under the name of RJ Anglao—claimed that he was the real person behind the Twitter exchanges with Angel Locsin. He posted screenshot photos of their conversation as proof. He also claimed that his account is not fake but that he was using a”face app” that allowed him to change his display photos.

Coming out as the real account user, Anglao tried clarifying his position on Facebook and pointed out that Angel clearly made a “threat.”

This is Angel Locsin’s viral open letter that’s posted on different pages and even reported by MSM.

Anglao said he had to respond to the actress after receiving attacks from her followers.

“After a couple of minutes, I received this reply from Angel Locsin,” he began on Facebook. “I did not mind it first because her reply was actually good. However, I was getting a lot of vile attacks from her supporters and I feel like I wanna speak up, expecting for a good exchange of ideas. Thus, I responded.”

“Now tell me, which part exactly of my replies I harassed and bashed Angel Locsin?” Anglao asked after posting all the screenshot photos. “Is it ‘flooding her page’ when you just replied to the tweets where your name was mentioned?"

RJ Aanglao also left a message to the public, most especially to those who have been attacking him online.

“Those people who keep on bashing me without knowing the entire story, THANK YOU! You just proved to us how you easily get swayed by media and celebrities.”

To my surprise, a news came out and the rest is history. HAHAHA Now tell me, which part exactly of my replies I...

He even shared that he is Angel’s fan who defended her from bashers who wanted to humiliate her on social media because of her present body shape.

“To those who are saying that I’m playing the ‘victim card’ here, sorry— YOU’RE WRONG! If you hate me because you love Angel, please know as well that I’m a fan & I’m actually one of the people on twitter who defended her for being BODY SHAMED.

“It’s not ‘pa VICTIM’ when you’re just explaining your side because if you still trust fully the mainstream media today, then you’re closing your mind to know the reality.

“Angel Locsin’s contribution to the country is not undermined here. What is not okay is THREATENING someone just because she can’t handle the heat,” he concluded.
