Singer-actress Donnalyn Bartolome held a press conference for the music video launch of her newest hit, Di Lahat, at VIVA HQ’s main office last June.
It can be recalled that the said music video featured cameos from social media influencers to top actresses such as Indak lead Nadine Lustre, actress-host Alex Gonzaga, actress-singer, Ang Probinsyano star Yassi Pressman, and It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis, whom Donnalyn all asked personally to appear in the music video for the now-viral hit that has now over 4 million views on YouTube.
When Donnalyn was asked who among her special guests she clicked the most with, she immediately said Anne Curtis, and went on explaining why.
“When I asked them (the stars) kung pwede sila maging part ng music video, I gave them the list of people who said yes already,” the Social Media Sweetheart said. “There were only a few people who said yes to this music video. When I asked ate Anne, she said yes right away.”
“She was so easy to talk to, to ask for a favor,” Donnalyn adds, her eyes shining. “If she [said] no, okay lang [yet] she replied. Hindi talaga dahil idol na idol ko siya, kundi bilang tao. Siya talaga.”
The music video for Di Lahat is published by Viva Music Publishing, Inc. and was written and directed by Donnalyn, herself. According to her, the song is a subtle ode to smash stereotypes of women as heartbreakers.
