“Never, no, never! Hahaha!” natatawang sagot ni Denise. “You know, I’ve always been really independent. But when I do have a partner, I really give everything that I’ve got in the relationship…You do things with the intention of bigger things.”
Mas nabibigyang time n’ya daw ngayon bilang single ang kanyang sarili, ang kanyang craft, ang pagba-vlog at pagiging mother sa kanyang eleven-year-old son na si Davian Alejandro from another previous relationship.
“So right now, I love being by myself. Hahaha! Less stress, less hassle, less worrying so much about joggling so much of my time. I really enjoy every bit of my creativity na petiks lang ako sa time ko. I can go on,” pahayag ng Kapamilya actress.
“I can go with my own flow. I can enjoy and take care of my son the way I want to. I can be myself without any judgment. So, I’m so happy just being single. God, ayaw ko na ng sakit sa ulo. Hahaha!” natatawa pa ring dagdag n’ya.
Ganu’n pa man, hindi naman daw n’ya tuluyang isinasara ang pinto n’ya for love lalo na kung ang Itaas na daw ang gumawa ng paraan para matagpuan n’ya si Mr. Right.
“Well, I’m not God. So if God wants me to be with somebody, yeah, sure. But feeling ko, I am so cool by myself, like I don’t need anyone or anything,” she said.
Paglilinaw ng actress-vlogger, “Of course, I’m so thankful for my family and friends. If God wants, gagawan Niya talaga ng paraan kahit ayaw ko. Pero for now…no.”
Nag-e-enjoy din daw ang proud single mom sa pagiging nanay sa gwapo n’yang anak na si Alejandro.
“I got that I got to spend the pandemic with him. Despite the negative circumstances, the unfortunate things that are happening in the world I just tried my best to look at ano p’wede kong maging grateful for,” pagbabahagi pa rin ni Denise.
“And I made the most of what was going on. So, I really made the most of my time with him at home to focus on making my heart more beautiful, to be more beautiful mom to him, to be more beautiful friend to him, to be more loving life coach, kumbaga, or helper to him,” pagtatapos n’ya.
