On Instagram last Wednesday, April 28, Dimples Romana revealed that she has opened a restaurant in Singapore called Alegria Singapura.

The restaurant had its soft opening last April 22 and its initial days have had a great run, according to the actress.

“The past week has been a blast as our Team Alegria in Singapore has been experienced and enjoyed by locals and our fellow Filipinos - the food, the ambiance, the drinks,” she wrote.

Dimples expressed gratitude to the customers who have been posting about their dining experience in her restaurant.

“A BIG THANK you to everyone who keeps sending us and tagging us their photos, videos of their food and dining experience,” she said. “You guys are the best!!!”

Dimples first teased about the business, which she co-ventures along with her husband Boyet Ahmee, last January, posting photos about their food.

Alegria Singapura is Dimples and Boyet’s latest business venture along with several other business partners under Grupo Alegria, Inc.

Alegria Manila, the first sangria bar in Manila, opened in the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last 2017. Apart from its Manila and Singapore branches, Grupo Alegria, Inc. also plans to open Hacienda Alegria, Cafe Alegria, and Alegria Cantina, as announced on their official website.

According to their official Instagram page, Alegria Singapura offers “non-traditional Latin-Asian plates” and is located on 18 Teck Lim Road. It is open from Tuesdays to Saturdays.
