Last Thursday, September 5, all-day education channel Knowledge Channel celebrated its twenty years on television with a press launch that instigated eight brand new programs featuring some of the country’s leading stars that share their love for learning.
One of these stars is actor-businessman Enchong Dee who marks his return for the third season of Agricoolture, a Technology and Livelihood Education show that showcases different agricultural activities and how they can be turned into businesses like fish farming, hog raising, and crop yielding.
In relation to his show, Enchong was asked by the press about his thoughts on the news about the plunging palay prices that affect the livelihood of Philippine farmers, one of the poorest people in the country.
He then adds that if Filipinos can try putting their countrymen first apart from anything, we should do it because no one is going to help the Filipinos aside from themselves.
“Wala rin naman pong tutulong sa atin kundi tayo-tayo lang eh, so kung pwede ho ng gobyerno protektahan at pahalagahan ang kababayan natin, gawin po sana natin,” the Circa star concludes.
