Proud na proud ang kanyang daddy ER sa kanyang panganay (in the brood of six). In his interview prior to the event, sinabi niyang alam niyang Eric has been working hard on this music video.

“I’d like to congratulate my firstborn son, Eric Ejercito, my name sake,” panimulang pa-trivia pa niya. “Pareho kami ng pangalan, e. I’m Emilio Ramon III, he’s Emilio Ramon IV, His nickname is Eric.

“Congratulations for working very hard with your team and I hope you will surpass the success of the first single ‘Fearless’ with the second single ‘Fool.’ Eric has worked so hard on this video together with his team, and I would sincerely like to thank Boss Vic del Rosario and Boss Veronique and Boss Vincent [del Rosario] for supporting Eric’s second music video entitled ‘Fool’ and thank you very much Viva Records for a job well done and for the success of this red-carpet premiere.

“Congrats Eric, more music videos to come and I hope you can compose more songs ang direct more music videos and make an album, of course, in the future.”

“We’re doing a movie by the way,” he says. “Action movie. Our family is known for action movies...and I use the screen name Jorge Estregan and Eric’s part of the film also.”

Muli ring pinatunayan ni Eric ang versatility niya dahil bukod sa sing-and-dance artist siya, he also co-wrote the song (with Brian Lotho) and co-directed the music video with his friend Jeff Centauri.

Five days daw sinyut ang nasabing music video but the editing and special effects took two months to render. But sabi nga niya, it’s worth the wait.

At the Q&A portion of the music video launch, natanong si Eric kung sino ang mga nais niyang pasalamatan sa pagkakataong iyon.

Bukod sa mga naka-trabaho sa music video led by his Epiode One production team, pinasamalatn ni Eric, of course, ang kanyang pamilya.

“For making me do the things that I love and letting me grow as an artist and doing it my own way at my own time, you know.”

No pressure, kumbaga.

Moreover, he adds: “I do wanna thank one person who doesn’t get credit that much...I think wanna thank myself for believing in myself. I wanna thank myself for getting up on days that I don’t wanna get up and for believing in myself when nobody did.”
