Pinanindigan ni Frankie Pangilinan walang special treatment involved sa kanyang pagpapa-bakuna.

Last May 20 kasi nang mag-post ng short video sa Twitter si Frankie kung saan makikitang binabakunahan s’ya bilang residente ng Makati City.

Paliwanag n’ya sa tweet, nagka-asthma daw s’ya noon kaya pasok s’ya sa mga priority for the vaccine under A3 Category or Persons with Comorbidities. 

“[W]hen i got an asthma attack mid-PE in middle school and everybody made fun of me i swore i would get back at them one day and here we are,” pabirong tsika ni Frankie sa video. 

“[A]ll the melodic wheezing... all those times in the ER... have prepared me for this one moment... i feel alive and invincible... my ego has reached new uncertain heights…"

May ilang followers na natuwa at nag-congratulate sa kanya pero mas marami ang hindi naka-intindi sa kanyang biro sa video at minasama pa ito. Moreover, inulan na naman siya ng batikos at tinawag s’yang “ipokrita,” “reklamador,” “oportunista” at kung anu-ano pa. 

Very vocal daw kasi sa pag-criticize sa pamahalaan si Frankie gayong heto at nauna pa daw s’yang nabakunahan kesa sa mga senior citizens.

Kahapon, May 24, sumagot s’ya sa Twitter at sinabing wala siyang inunahan dahil qualified siyang mabakunahan agad. She also said she was just being responsible.

“[H]i i didn’t want to make this a big deal but have y’all ever thought maybe ppl have health issues u don’t know about” pahayag ni Frankie. “[I] didn’t cut in line, got a text from makati gov saying i qualified, so i went, bc it’s the responsible thing to do.”

Masyado daw ginagawan ng issue ng mga bashers ang kanyang mga ginagawa o sinasabi at aminado s’yang napapagod na s’ya sa mga ganu’n.

“[M]ade a lighthearted quip about it and wanted to be transparent, but even that was misconstrued. [E]verything i’ve done for the past year has been so dramatized and it’s rly tiring guys.”

Gayunpaman, nagpaka-positibo npa rin ang singer-songwriter at hinimok ang kanyang mga followers na magpa-vaccine lalo kung qualified at kabilang sila sa mga prioritized sectors.

[I] hope you’re all safe and healthy. [A]nd if you qualify, PLEASE get vaccinated not only for ur protection but for those around u,” pag-e-encourage n’ya.

Sey pa ng anak ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta, nagdadalawang isip pa daw s’ya nu’ng una dahil nga sa kung anong p’wedeng isipin at sabihin ng mga tao. Pero tumuloy daw s’ya para sa kapakanan nang nakararami. 

[I] had my own initial qualms about going precisely bc i thought abt the ppl who might better qualify, but if we all think like that how are we ever going to achieve herd immunity? [A]nd why would i post a video on a public platform if i cut in line??? [P]ls my goodness gracious,” pagtatapos ni Frankie.
