Gabby Concepcion took to Instagram yesterday, February 3, to express his love and support for his daughter KC Concepcion by posting a short video slideshow.
The video contains sweet throwback photos of Gabby and KC and a few notable quotes dedicated to his daughter.
The slideshow’s first frame showed the touching words: “I love you and I will stand behind you always November 30, 2019.”
Another quote appeared in the video which read: “Sometimes all you can do is leave it in God’s hands & wait.”
Gabby ended the video by citing a quote from the novel, Go Set a Watchman, written by Harper Lee that talked about the importance of a father’s love in his child’s life.
“The most moral force in her life, was the love of her father.”
And his post has an equally sweet caption, saying, “I will always be here for you. I love you my baby.---Papa. #babygirl #papa #baby #love #priceless #bonding #fatheranddaughter #goodvibes.”
Gabby’s appreciation post for KC was posted following their father-and-daughter bonding moment in a Japanese restaurant recently.
KC is the only daughter of Gabby to Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
KC and Gabby rarely upload photos of them together so it was a delight to many to finally see them together in their recent Instagram posts.
But Gabby and KC’s posts come at a time when rumors about a mother-and-daughter rift are ripe on social media.
Thus, some fans are now speculating that Gabby’s IG posts for his daughter have something to do with Sharon’s non-stop post about her family and all the special occasions they had without the presence of KC.
Last Saturday, February 1, the same day Gabby and KC had their Japanese restaurant date, Sharon uploaded stolen photos of her daughters Miel and Frankie, her children to Senator Kiko Pangilinan, having a sweet moment.
She pointed out in her caption that Miel and Frankie are her “loving, good-hearted girls who truly treasure me and our family. I am so proud to be their mother!.”
It can be recalled that KC and Sharon exchanged messages online that instantly made headlines a month ago.
During Sharon’s ASAP Natin ‘To birthday production last January 5, she talked about her family and thanked them on her special day without mentioning KC’s name in her speech, except in a side comment, in which she said: “alam ko apat ang anak ko.”
After her piece, rumors surfaced the internet that Sharon is shading KC for not coming to her birthday celebration.
The following day, KC posted a birthday message for her mother and apologized for not being able to make it to her birthday special segment in ASAP Natin ‘To.
Sharon responded to her daughter, three days after, with lengthy emotional IG posts and according to her, it all boils down to a mother missing her daughter.
