Miss Philippines Gazini Ganados may have spent the Christmas and her 24th birthday away from home but she did so with filled gratitude and positivity.
In her latest Instagram post, the Cebuana-Palestinian beauty sent Christmas cheers to her fellow Filipinos.
"Merry Christmas Philippines," Gazini said in her post. "Hope you all had a good one and spent quality time with your families, friends and loved-ones as we reflect on the ultimate reason for this season."
The Miss Universe Philippines 2019 candidate also made a reflection on her journey as she celebrates her 24th birthday today, December 26.
It can be recalled that in the Miss Universe 2019 pageant held in Atlanta, Georgia last December 8, Gazini shared to host Steve Harvey that she was given
the second name Christiana since she was born day after Christmas.
"As I turn 24 today," she went on in his post, "I am so thankful and looking forward to another year! I was blessed with so many opportunities this year. My dreams have come to fruition and I have met new and amazing people along the way."
She may have not been able to bring home the crown, or to secure any runner-up spot, but Gazini shared that it is always important to celebrate achievements no matter how small or big they are.
"If there is one thing I learned, it is to always celebrate your personal victories because no one else understands what it took to accomplish them.
"Can’t wait to be back home soon to continue my job and fulfill my missions," Gazini concluded.
The Pinay beauty queen, known to be an advocate of elderly care and HIV/AIDS awareness, and who also busies herself helping other charitable organizations, is set to continue her beauty-queen duties next year after the holidays.
Though she may continue on her outreach programs, Gazini will relinquish her crown to another empowered Filipina once her reign is over in 2020.
However, the public has no idea yet where Gazini would do her final walk and pass her crown. It is going to be in Binibining Pilipinas 2020 edition or in Miss Universe Philippines Organization's first ever pageant?
We all shall wait.
