Angelica Panganiban had the chance to talk to her idol Jared Leto via video chat! SWERTE!

While in quarantine and everybody’s glued to their smartphones and laptops, now is the perfect time to check your respective idol’s daily social media updates because you might have a once-in-a-lifetime interaction with them online—just like actress Angelica Panganiban.

Two days ago, March 25, Angelica happened to have a casual talk with Hollywood actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto during his Instagram live session.

With the on-going COVID-19 crisis, Jared checked up on his online followers from around the world by inviting them to join in his Instagram Live and Angelica was one of those whom he got to speak with through a video chat.

In their conversation, Angelica told him that she’s currently under self-quarantine after shooting a film in Dubai recently, she’s referring to Star Cinema’s Love or Money co-starring Coco Martin.

To which Jared responded, "I'm glad to hear you're safe and sound and at home, and I hope everything's okay for you guys back there and, you know, I think with warm weather, it's gonna be good news for everyone in places like the Philippines soon, I hope."

She didn’t only get to share a video call with him but Angelica was also complimented by Jared for her “interesting voice” in the middle of their chat.

"It's nice to see you. You have an interesting voice. Your accent is hard to place,” Jared told Angelica.

The actress just giggled and couldn’t hide her kilig as she gushed over Jared saying, “It’s amazing to talk to you. It’s so surreal!”

Before exchanging farewell, the 48-year-old Oscar Best Supporting Actor then left a message for his Filipino fans.

“Tell everybody in the Philippines that we love them and we miss them. It’s been a long time since we played a concert there. We love the country, and we’d love to come back,” he went on.

“We hope everybody stays at home, be good, protect yourself, and be safe,” he ended.
