Local celebrities have shown their support for ABS-CBN and its pending franchise renewal by reposting various artworks regarding such.

It could be recalled that the television and radio operations of the media giant were given a cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) last May 5, following the expiration of its congressional franchise last May 4.

Furthermore, the NTC also ordered the stoppage of the direct broadcast satellite service of the network’s subsidiary Sky Cable last June 30. They also disallowed ABS-CBN to use Channel 43.

On Instagram, supporters of the Kapamilya network began reposting photos that show support for its return on the television screens.

Sylvia Sanchez, who was known for her recent roles in the network’s Pamilya Ko, Hanggang Saan, and The Greatest Love, posted a collage of artworks on her Instagram account.

“LORD, your will be done,” the actress wrote.

The Killer Bride and Wildflower lead actress Maja Salvador penned her prayers and messages for people of Congress and leaders of the country regarding the franchise renewal.

Maraming salamat po,” she concluded.
