Jennica Garcia penned a message of assurance to her daughters, Athena and Severina, following the rumors circulating that she has separated with husband Alwyn Uytingco.

It could be recalled that the rumored split became the talk of the town after the actress asked netizens how to change her username and name on her social media pages last March 27.

Despite not having confirmed nor denied the rumor, Jennica took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 7, says she is going through a heartache, yet reassured her children that they will pass through these trying times.

"I know that our loving Father's plan for us is always good. His decision to allow this to happen in our life is not to destroy us. Never to destroy us mga anak. Instead of sadness, let's rejoice because God is close to the brokenhearted," she wrote, accompanied by photos of her daughters and her handwritten message.

Jennica concluded her message by saying how she looks forward to the day when Jesus would be answering her questions as to why some things are happening.

“Jesus, My Lord, I look forward to the day when you will reveal to me the answer to all my why's. I will patiently wait for your answer and in doing so, I will praise your name. JESUS CHRIST, my Redeemer, my Savior!” she said.

Jennica tied the knot with Alwyn in a simple wedding ceremony back in 2014. Since then, she has put her family as her top priority. She is making a showbiz comeback through the upcoming GMA-7 series Las Hermanas.
