With the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) back until August 18, people in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces are back to making the most of their time at home.
Some bake, some cook, others catch up on their favorite television series, and others take care of their bodies by exercising.
For Joey De Leon, he turned back to his other love which is painting.
Unbeknownst to some, Joey has a passion for art (he even once called it as “his mistress”), his house swarming with paintings from his favorite Ang Kiukok and ceramic plates from BenCab.
The works by these National Artists inspired the Eat Bulaga! host to dabble in the field they are known for, especially in recent times, when the COVID-19 has required most of us to stay at home.
With the variety show off the air for a bit, the actor-comedian has traded in the microphone for the brushes to make original works about different topics: the pandemic, Jesus Christ, and even fish! Plus, he mixes his artistic skills with his comedic style, which is playing with words.
