Last Wednesday, September 30, Erich Gonzales uploaded a vlog on her YouTube channel which featured Joshua Garcia. It is a video about them cooking adobo, which doubled as a question-and-answer portion for the actor.
At one point in the video, Erich asked Joshua about the current status of his love life, to which he answered that it is not his focus at the moment.
“Wala.
Erich also asked Joshua about destiny, inquiring if he believes there is one person that is destined to be with him.
“Kung ako naghahanap ako, may tao ring naghahanap,” he answered. “Feeling ko, ah. Destiny.”
[...] God has the one for you so you just have to wait patiently.”
Kasi commitment ’yon, eh,” Joshua explained.
Out of curiosity, Erich, then, asked Joshua what he looks for in a girlfriend, to which the actor answered someone who accepts him for who he is.
“Gusto ko ’yong matatanggap ako ng buong-buo,” he said.
He added that through time, the qualities he looks for in a girl changes because he also matures as time passes by.
“Ngayon, parang gusto ko rin ’yong babaeng mahilig magbasa,” he went on.
“Marami rin alam na gawaing bahay like magluto, maglinis, punas-punas,” he added to his list. “May takot sa Diyos, siyempre, family-oriented. [...] ’Yon lang.”
Joshua’s last television appearances were in the revenge drama series The Killer Bride and the drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya. He is currently filming for the film adaptation of the Bob Ong mystery novel Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan directed by Chito S. Roño.
