Is the kilig real?
The love team of teen actors Kyle Echarri and Francine Diaz, popularly known as KyCine, rose to fame through the hit afternoon drama series Kadenang Ginto. However, is the blossoming love they show on television slowly becoming true to life?
In an episode of the late-night talk show Tonight With Boy Abunda, the King of Talk asked if it is safe to say that Kyle is at his happiest when he is with Francine, to which the young actor nodded.
“Masasabi ko po na masaya ako ’pag nakikita ko po siyang masaya,” Kyle answered. “It’s one of the best feelings to see someone, especially when I’m the one who made her happy, parang ganoon. ’Yong pakiramdam ko ’yong, parang, ang sarap pala maging kasama ’to, ang sarap palang pasayahin ’tong taong ’to.”
Boy then turned to Francine, asking if she had a response to Kyle’s answer. She, then, turned to him, giving him a message of gratitude.
“Thank you so much for everything,” Francine told Kyle. “Thank you so much dahil kapag sad ako, gumagawa ka ng way para mapasaya ako and thank you kasi kapag may problema ako, nakikinig ka sa akin palagi. Never mo ko iniwan sa ere. Thank you.”
This prompted Kyle to say a lovely message of his own to his love team partner, thanking her too for accepting him as a friend.
“I’m happy that you allow me to be someone in your life,” he said. “You allow me to make you happy and thank you dahil, sa tagal ko sa industriya, it’s been hard for me to find friends and I can promise you, ikaw ang isa sa mga pinaka-paborito kong tao sa mundo.”
“Tito Boy, since lagi ko po ’tong nakakasama, I know a lot of things she’s been going through,” Kyle added. “We both know more than anyone knows about each other.”
After being asked where is Francine in his heart, Kyle said she is “very near his heart” and her name is etched right on it, to the delight of their KyCine fans.
Boy then shifted to a question from a netizen who saw a photo of both teen stars holding hands as if they were a committed couple. The question grilled them about their actual status as a couple.
The two answered the question using a “friendship spectrum” from the show, ranging from friends, best friends, and more than friends. Kyle and Francine both stood between best friends and more than friends, describing their relationship as such.
Kyle and Francine star in the iWant original movie Silly Red Shoes which can currently be streamed in the iWant app. Watch the trailer of the film below!
