Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa took to Instagram to flaunt her pageant sister Patch Magtanong, who finished as one of the Top 8 contestants in the Miss International 2019 held at the Tokyo Dome in Japan yesterday, November 12.
In her post, Kylie congratulated Patch for giving an “exquisite performance" and for being an “amazing and great representative of the Philippines” at the said pageant. And she even narrated her experience watching the pageant live.
“So proud of you @patchmag. Exquisite performance!” Kylie wrote on her IG post last night. “I felt like a mom watching the pageant for the first time live, I was so nervous. I don’t think i’m ever going to watch another pageant live again.”
She added, “You were amazing and a great representative of the Philippines. Your speech on women empowerment and gender equality was moving.
“Congratulations, this is only the beginning.”
Kylie, who did the pageant’s backstage hosting duties, gave Patch a hug as they pose for the camera. Kylie then shared the said photo to her online followers.
Thailand's Bint Sireethorn Leearamwat was crowned the new Miss International 2019.
