Inamin ng aktres na si Kyline Alcantara na nai-intimidate s’ya noon sa ka-love team at rumored boyfriend n’ya ngayon na si Mavy Legaspi.
Sinabi n’ya ito sa virtual media launch kahapon, February 17, ng mga bagong love teams ng Sparkle, ang re-branded na talent arm ng GMA Network. Kabilang sa mga love teams na ito sina Zonia Mejia at Jamir Zabarte, Althea Ablan at Bruce Roeland, Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo, Shayne Sava and Abdul Raman, at sina Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.
Doon ay natanong ng entertainment press ang mga magkakatambal kung ano ba ang first impressions nila sa kani-kanilang ka-love team at dito nga sumagot si Kyline na medyo naiilang s’ya noon kay Mavy unlike sa kakambal nitong si Cassy.
Bata pa lang daw kasi noon ang Kapuso actor ay napapanood na n’ya ito sa mga TV commercials. Bukod pa doon, tinawag n’yang “royal blood” si Mavy bilang unico hijo ito ng seasoned actors and celebrity couple na sina Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villarroel.
“Ako po with Mav…I got a little bit intimidated, especially with Mav. Kasi si Cassy parehas naman kaming babae, e,” lahad ni Kyline.
“With Mavy I got a little intimidated kasi s’yempre napapanood ko na s’ya nu’ng bata pa s’ya. Selecta boy, ganyan. Hahaha! S’yempre, royal blood s’ya,” natatawang pagre-recall pa n’ya.
“Nakatrabaho ko na rin po si Tita Mina so parang iba ’yong tingin ko sa kanya [kay Mavy]. Akala ko medyo mayabang s’ya kasi akala ko nasa utak n’ya ’yong pagiging royal blood n’ya.”
Napangiti na lang si Mavy sa kabilang linya sa pag-amin na ito ni Kyline sa press.
Pagpapatuloy ng aktres, nabago naman daw ang pagtingin n’ya sa aktor nang mas makilala na n’ya ito.
“Pero eventually, napakita n’ya naman po na he’s really a humble person and he’s respectful also, and ’yong pinakamahalaga, sobra ’yong patience n’ya sa lahat ng tao, especially to me cause he knows that I can be all over the place sometimes,” natatawang salaysay pa n’ya.
Kung intimidation ang naramdaman sa kanya si Kyline noon, si Mavy naman, for his part, ay nagustuhan naman daw ang masayahing characteristic ni Kylene.
“Ang first impression ko kay Kyline is napaka-energetic n’ya. Kasi ang first meeting po namin was in a big [acting] workshop of [Anthony] Bova. We were there in the rehearsal room tapos bigla na lang nag-approach s’ya sa amin ni Cassy,” pagbabalik-tanaw ng aktor.
“Napaka-energetic, napaka-bubbly n’ya. And that has never changed ever since. Four years ago, that has never changed.”
Bukod sa pagiging bubbly, na-discover din daw n’ya na matalino din si Kyline at puno ng mga pangarap sa buhay.
“S’yempre through the years we discovered a lot of things about Kyline and I discovered that she’s smart. She has a lot of thoughts. She has a lot of dreams and inspires you to become a better person each and every day. That has never changed,” paglalarawan pa ni Mavy sa ka-love team.
“She really makes my day when I’m with her. She really complements my days when I’m not too energetic. She really complements both sides of the coin. That’s Kyline. She can complement any type of personality.”
At ngayong officially launched na sila bilang magka-love team after the success of their first team up in the recently concluded primetime series I Left My Heart In Sorsogon, makaka-asa daw ang kanilang mga fans na magiging updated ang mga ito sa kanilang magiging journey sa showbiz.
“Siguro mas magiging deeper ang pagpapakilala namin sa mga tao. We’re going to be more out there when it comes to our private things na ginagawa or private adventures po na ginagawa namin,” pagtitiyak ni Kyline.
Dagdag naman dito ni Mavy, “I’m very excited for what’s in store for MavLine most especially kakatapos lang po ng I Left My Heart In Sorsogon last Friday. And the feedback, the response and what the fans have been... such great responses and we’re just excited to showcase to our fans and audience what we have in store for them, most especially with Sparkle GMA Artist Center really pushing our love team.”
