Singer and The Voice coach Lea Salonga took to her personal Facebook account to expose fake news of her departure from the reality singing television competition.

It was yesterday when the Facebook page Writing Viewly and an entertainment site called writingboxforyou.com announced that the Broadway star had left The Voice for two different reasons, the former saying she was fired while the latter saying that she wanted more time to focus on her family.

Lea then took a screenshot of the said posts and relayed such on her personal Facebook account, clarifying that those are fake news while once you click on the first one, an advertisement for skincare will appear.

“Yet another fake ad saying I’ve been fired from The Voice and hawking some skin product. Neither of these things are true. Posting screenshots here (one of the FB feed snippet that leads to the article and the article itself).” she wrote on her social media account.

Salonga continues her search for the next singing grand champion during the blind auditions of The Voice: Kids (season 4) alongside Sarah Geronimo and Bamboo.
