LITZ debuts “Kidlat” music video with a red-carpet cinema premiere

LITZ’s “Kidlat,” written by Marion Aunor and arranged by Cool Cat Ash of Aunorable Productions, is their first original song. They released a cover of the James Reid-hit “Natataranta” back in November 2021. LITZ considers “Kidlat” as their debut single and its music video, their  first for an original song. The video is directed by LITZ mentor and creative head, Georcelle Dapat-Sy. Teacher Georcelle likewise considers “Kidlat” to be the group’s official debut single.

LITZ, Viva’s all-girl sing-and-dance music group launched the music video of their debut single “Kidlat” with a cinema premiere on Friday, April 1, 2022.

The “Kidlat” music video premiere, held at the Fisher Mall cinema, was preceded by a red-carpet event hosted by singer and host Jeankiley Manguera.

Pop music acts and movie personalities such as The Juans, WAYBETTR music artist DENY, ALAMAT, Amiel Sol, new Pinoy pop group BOIZ, P-pop boyband New Style, OC Records artists Chelsea, Ronquillo, Pappel, Fitz Shioda, Starirays, Ppop Gen’s Jastine Lim and actors Andrea Babierra, Wilbert Ross, Ataska and Andrea Magadia attended the event in support of the lovely and talented LITZ ladies—Bianca Santos, Yumi Garcia, Fatima Añonuevo, Ashtine Olviga, and Heart Ryan Evangelista.

Also in attendance were LITZ’s GForce’s trainors and mentors Jelai and Jaja along with some GForce scholars.

Of course, LITZ’s creator Teacher Georcelle Dapat-Sy was also present.

But for the fans that were there, the focus of their attention was LITZ and Bianca, Yumi, Fatima,  Ashtine, and Heart did not disappoint as they spent a huge chunk pf the premiere interacting with their GLITZ fandom and supporters.

“This is just the beginning,” quipped Teacher Georcelle. “We have a lot of plans for the future. I’m excited for the collaboration. [And the girls of] LITZ are excited, too. They’re always excited for everything. These girls are all smiles, that’s why the name is LITZ. It means ‘life in the sunshine.’”

Meanwhile, after the music video was shown on the big screen, LITZ and G-Force took to the stage for a live performance of “Kidlat.”

The music video subsequently premiered at the LITZ official YouTube channel the next day.

“Kidlat,” released by Viva Records, can now be streamed on all music platforms.
