Online retailer Shopee Philippines hosted the meet-and-greet for the famous South Korean girl group, BLACKPINK, held at Samsung Hall of the SM Aura in Taguig City last night, June 6.
Fans who call themselves Blinks and several local celebrities flocked to the one-night-only event to once again get a glimpse of the ultra-popular girl group—comprised of Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo—which also had their first concert in Manila almost four months ago this year.
Among the celebrities spotted at the quick meet and greet are Shopee ambassador Anne Curtis and her sister Jasmine Curtis. They couldn’t stop uploading IG stories all throughout the event.
Ella Cruz and Sharlene San Pedro unleashed their inner fangirls at the event as well.
It’s Showtime’s Teddy Corpuz surprised her daughter with BLACKPINK passes and together, they enjoyed the whole scene. Teddy also shared last night’s photos on his IG with some other celebs like Andrea Brillantes, Kim Chiu, Kristoffer Martin and Glaiza De Castro.
Glaiza, for her part, felt particularly ecstatic to see BlackPink member, Lisa. On IG, she said: “Naitawid ko gaiz!!! Eto na konting kembot nalang makikita ko na sila OMAYGHAAAADDDD LISA KAWAYAN MO KO PLZZ okay, kalma, act normal. See you later! May pabaon akong masasayang memories, lagay ko sa bag ko.”
The baby Blinks Kendra and Scarlett were also present alongside their basketball player dad Douglas Kramer. They were so cute in their BLACKPINK inspired matching outfits!
Awra Briguela, who slayed in her pink suit outfit and floral boots, was seated beside artistas AC Bonifacio and Riva Quenery.
Meanwhile, Maymay Entrata claimed that the whole experience felt like a dream and seeing the girl group up close made her one of the happiest Blinks last night.
She posted a boomerang on her IG holding BLACKPINK’s light stick and wrote on her caption, “Ito yung parang panaginip na nakalutang ka lang sa sobrang ganda nila na parang di totoo dahil sa malapit lang sila grabi baii, di ko man capture lahat pero ang makita sila ng malapitan ay sapat na para punuin ng saya ang puso ko. Glory to God!”
