After a series of quakes that shook Mindanao recently, some celebrities and public figures immediately sent aid to those who were affected.
And one of them is the Magandang Buhay host Melai Cantiveros.
Melai quietly brought and distributed relief goods to the quake victims. No one knew about it until
Photos and videos of Melai’s relief effort made it online because a quake victim extended his thanks to the comedienne via a Facebook post.
ABS-CBN’s Darla Sauler, a dear friend of Melai, noticed the post and applauded Melai on Instagram earlier today by uploading screenshots of the quake victim’s appreciation post.
Labyu iSay! @mrandmrsfrancisco.”
In the comment section, the comic TV host-actress responded saying, “over madam xmpre sa mga kaibigan ko din na over over support. Xmpre taga Mindanao baya ko madam. Love u more madam.”
Aside from Melai, Angel Locsin also made headlines during the All Saint’s Day weekend after donating a truckload of relief goods and for volunteering to help the survivors.
And just like Melai, Angel’s participation in the relief operation only made it public attention after photos and videos of her in Mindanao surfaced the internet.
