“I do have [a boyfriend],” pag-amin ng 23-year-old Filipino-Indian beauty queen. “We’ve been dating for six years.

“He’s my first boyfriend. I can make a man stay,” tila kinikilig na pahabol pa ng dalaga.

“We’ve been together since college,” paliwanag pa n’ya. “He’s been very supportive. And he made me promise not to leave him even if I win the Miss Universe Philippines crown.

“So, I have a video stating that. Hahaha! He made me do that,” natatawang pagre-recall ni Rabiya.

“We used to be [in an] LDR and then he followed me here in Manila,” k’wento n’ya sa interview. “So, that’s true love. Hahaha!”

“Because it’s very difficult to handle relationship once you’re far from each other,” lahad pa ni Rabiya. “And somebody needs to make a sacrifice. That’s how things work.

“Sometimes you need to understand each other. And if you need to give up something, that entitles you to make that relationship grow stronger. Sometimes you do that sacrifice.”

“And I’m very much happy that he had his efforts just to show how much he loves me,” ani Rabiya. “And this is now my time to stay with him because I won’t be the queen that you all looking at if he wasn’t there for me back in the days.”

“He had been telling me when I was feeling down and I felt that I’m not gonna win, he would tell me that, ‘No, I can see you with that Filipina crown.’ And he’s been pushing me. And the good thing about him is that he’s understanding.”

“He just made me promise not to leave him. And I’m gonna do my best to fulfill it,” pagtatapos ni Rabiya.
