Actress Nathalie Hart officially confirmed her separation from her non-showbiz Indian partner, Mayank Sharma.
It’s been months since her fans have been speculating about her relationship status but she made an effort to brush the rumor off by giving vague statements about it.
“[We are] on a break. I’m not single pero alam mo ’yong tipong I’m doing my own thing. Chill muna kaming dalawa,” Nathalie told the press during the Barbara Reimagine press confetence last November 8.
“For us, it’s a moment na kailangan asikasuhin namin ’yong buhay naming dalawa.”
In the same interview, Nathalie also mentioned that they are busy working on their dreams; Mayank is still finishing his masteral studies in India while the Barbara star is focusing on her showbiz career here in the Philippines.
Not long after her read-between-the-lines statements, Nathalie finally admitted that she and Mayank have decided to end their romance.
Nathalie’s confession was via her interview in the Tonight With Boy Abunda show yesterday.
“We have separated our ways na. It's okay.
“I think it’s because of our personal differences” Nathalie explained. "It wasn't working, it wasn't a happy home. It's better for us to have separate lives for my daughter to have a happy environment."
She, however, confessed that she is still in the process of healing.
"I'm still healing. I just thought ito 'yong tao para sa akin talaga," she said.
"For me, I just want to put all my time for my daughter talaga. If there's no communication in the relationship, parang nagsasayang lang kayo ng oras talaga."
Nathalie also stated that their breakup was a mutual decision.
"Yes, it was. There's no unity in the relationship and I wanted to be respected. I wanted to be loved the way I love that person. Gusto ko ganun, pero hindi 'yon ang nakikita ko. He is the father of my child I love him, and that's it for now."
Nathalie and Mayank has a 10-month-old baby girl named Penelope.
