Challenging daw para sa Italian-Canadian actor-model na si Nico Locco ang sumabak sa pagpapa-sexy sa pelikula.

Inamin n’ya ito sa exclusive virtual interview n’ya with pikapika.ph kamakailan kung saan natanong namin s’ya kung bakit lumihis s’ya sa pagpapa-sexy mula sa pagiging wholesome.

Tsika ni Nico sa amin, sinubukan lang daw n’ya ang mag-BL series noong 2022, ang Love at the End of the World, at iyon daw ang nagbukas ng offers para sa mga sexy roles para sa Vivamax.

“I went through the wholesome phase and then, ayon, nag-hit ang Vivamax, e. Dahil sa manager ko also, the late Shandii Bacolod, [he] recommended na, ‘Why don’t you try sa Vivamax?’” pagre-recall ni Nico.

Nasa tamang edad na rin naman daw s’ya para sumabak sa mga mapangahas na eksena.

“Kasi ginawa ko ang Love at the End of the World. Sobrang daring ako d’yan sa BL series so it was kind of like perfect timing na, ‘Okey, sige. You’re 27 [years old] na…’ Well, 28 na ako kasi nag-birthday ako recently,” aniya.

Bukod pa doon, may ipapakita naman daw s’ya sa manonood dahil inaalagaan n’yang mabuti ang kanyang figure.

“I feel like it’s that time na, ‘Okey, p’wede ako mag-sexy based on my age. Physically, I put a lot of time sa gym and everything,” pagbibida pa n’ya.

Pero na-realize n’ya na hindi naman pala ganu’n kadali ang magpa-sexy sa harap ng camera.

Challenge daw kasi sa kanilang mga sexy actors na maging makatotohanan ang eksena kahit na wala naman daw talagang nangyayari dahil pure acting lang ang lahat.

“Hindi ako nag-sexy with Gold Aceron sa Love at the End of the World. It was just like a kissing scene lang underwater. Hindi ko pa na-try mag-sexy [scene] with a guy. With girls,’yong pinakamahirap na part for that is making it look real,” pagtatapat n’ya sa amin.

“S’yempre, pag nagse-sex ka, you’re feeling all the sensation sa mga special parts mo. I mean, it radiates to your body, right?” he went on.

“Pero since naka-plaster ka, and s’yempre, alam mo hindi totoo… May cameraman, may director, may prod [team] watching you, it’s hard trying to make it look real kahit hindi s’ya real. That’s the biggest challenge.”

Ganu’n pa man, happy daw ang aktor sa natatanggap n’yang projects na napapanood sa biggest streaming platform sa bansa.

Malaking opportunity din daw ito para mas mahasa pa ang talento n’ya sa pag-arte.

“So perfect timing tapos Viva is the biggest in the Philippines. They do one film per week. Kaya bakit hindi? I have to do a little bit of sexy to be able to fulfill my craft, bakit hindi?” pagtatapos n’ya.

Kabilang si Nico sa mga digital series na Lovely Ladies Dormitory, at sa kaka-release lang last February na Stalkers na available na for streaming sa Vivamax.
