Pinoy celebs mourn loss of American RnB singer James Ingram



Legendary singer-songwriter James Ingram has passed away at the age of 66. 

The man behind hit songs such as “Just Once” and “Somewhere Out There” died after a lengthy battle with brain cancer, according to a report from the US-based entertainment website TMZ. 

The news was met with shock and sadness by the two-time Grammy winner’s fans, including Filipino singers and celebrities who looked up to James for his distinctive voice and the enduring quality of his music. 

Gary Valenciano wrote a long tribute to the late singer via Instagram, sharing that James’s music “played a major role in my career and in my life.”
