Actor Richard Yap has finally restarted operating his businesses after pausing for a couple of months due to lockdown.

Businesses and employees alike were greatly affected by the on-going crisis. And Richard himself, had a fair share of losses since the quarantine declaration.

The Kapamilya actor, who was the contestant In Eat Bulaga’s “Bawal Judgmental” episode earlier today, July 11,  opened up about how his businesses suffered, too, because of the COVID-19 pandemic and how it is slowly recovering these days.

“Medyo po naapektuhan...lalo na ‘yong restaurants no’ng lockdown tayo,” the chinito actor told Bossing. “Medyo nag-shutdown talaga.”

“So ngayon lang medyo nakakabawi kasi nakapapag-deliver na at open na mga restaurants. And 30% ‘yong capacity ng mga tao na puwede na mag dine-in.”

Richard is a co-owner of the Chinese bistro Wangfu in Quezon City and he is also managing a furniture company called Cole & Ash International Systems Corp.

The Kapamilya actor’s appearance on Eat Bulaga was such a delight and a surprise to many, thus, he landed a spot in the most trending topics on Twitter Philippines.

He served as the latest celebrity judge in Bawal Judgmental and he is the fourth Kapamilya star who graced the Kapuso noontime show after Pokwang, Louise Delos Reyes, and Kim Molina.
