Ritz Azul shared some blissful news on Instagram last Saturday, June 20. The actress is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Allan Guy.
"This Guy’s in love with me, pare. I love you too, Allan Guy," she wrote on the caption accompanied by photos of the engagement and the hashtags #engaged and #myfiance.
On his Instagram, Allan shared the same set of photos while declaring his love for the Los Bastardos star.
"I love you so much, my love," he wrote.
Ritz's showbiz colleagues, including her Los Bastardos co-stars Jake Cuenca, Kylie Verzosa, Joseph Marco, Maxine Medina, and Albie Casiño, took time to congratulate her on the engagement, which took place in Lipa, Batangas.
Ritz began her showbiz career when she joined TV5's Star Factor where she placed 4th runner-up. She later transferred to ABS-CBN, appearing in shows such as FPJ's Ang Probinsyano, Banana Sundae, and The Promise of Forever.
Her latest film The Missing, where she stars alongside Joseph Marco, was supposed to premiere in the first summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) this year. The event, however, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
