In yesterday’s episode of Magandang Buhay, October 16, comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto revealed that she plans to leave the Philippines with her daughter Athena Alexandria to stay with her husband Trevor Magallanes in the United States. She plans to fly to the country this month of October.
“Magsasama-sama na kaming pamilya,” Rufa Mae answered show host Jolina Magdangal. “For now, doon muna ako. Bibili kasi kami ng bahay din doon, eh. So, kailangan focus.”
The actress also revealed that she plans to fix her U.S. citizenship while in the States. A couple more reasons why she plans to stay in the country is to celebrate her husband’s birthday, which coincides with their wedding anniversary.
“Ga-graduate [siya] ulit,” she adds. “Aral ng aral ‘yong asawa ko eh, noh? So, sa ngayon, ’yon lang muna. Pamilya muna ako.”
When host Karla Estrada asked how long she is planning to stay in the States, the sexy comedienne had this to say:
“Sa ngayon, wala pang return flight,” she jested. “Indefinite. Wala pang confirmed booking! Basta depends [sa] Pasko. Pero, sa ngayon, together kaming lahat. Togetherness.”
On Instagram, Rufa Mae told pikapika.ph that she plans to come back to the Philippines in December for the premiere of her upcoming film Love is Love, yet she will return again in the United States during Christmas and New Year.
Apart from this guesting, Rufa Mae was last seen on television screens last May 2019 in the sitcom Home Sweetie Home. Her recent film was the comedy flick And Ai, Thank You back in August 2019 where she starred alongside Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Kakai Bautista, and Juliana Parizcova Segovia.
We wish you a safe flight and a swell reunion with your family, Rufa Mae! See you soon!
