Situated in the suburban areas of Los Angeles, California, Rufa Mae Quinto has been living the life in the United States recently, reuniting herself and daughter Athena Alexandria with husband Trevor Magallanes, taking a slight break from show business to focus on her family.

The Beautiful Life Celebration is an awarding event helmed by the Filipino-American community led by Monet Lu, an award-winning Filipino celebrity beauty stylist who has a chain of salons all around Southern California and Las Vegas, Nevada. “It is held annually to commemorate honorable individuals and organizations that make up the beautiful Filipino-American community. It also promotes cultural heritage and a love for ‘Pinay Beauty’” their Facebook page says. The event, which celebrated its 31st year, took place last Saturday, November 23 (Sunday, November 24 in local time) at The Quiet Cannon in Montebello, California.

However, upon release of an article written by pikapika.ph regarding such, she told the entertainment news site via Instagram that she is planning to come back to the Philippines in December for the premiere of her upcoming movie, the romance-comedy flick Love is Love.
