Actress Ryza Cenon admitted that she applauds how Angel Locsin stays professional at work despite her spine damage.
In the year 2016, it can be recalled that Angel announced to the public that she developed a disc bulge in her spine after she underwent rigorous training for two years as her preparation to her supposed Darna film under ABS-CBN.
Her condition limited her from doing strenuous activities, hence, she then had to withdraw from her Darna project in order to prioritize her health and safety.
After years of healing and several therapies, Angel finally got back on track and appeared on her action-drama show The General’s Daughter, which will end this coming Friday, October 4.
In the said teleserye, Angel performed different stunts keeping in mind to be extra careful all the time. And now that the show’s finale is fast approaching, her co-stars truly admired her bravery and dedication to her craft. One of them is the former GMA-7 star Ryza, who played the kontrabida role Jessie in the serye.
During the hit teleserye’s finale press conference recently, Ryza could not help but mention that she’s hands down with Angel’s professionalism despite her spine condition.
She said, “Mga natutunan ko po is ’yong working attitude niya. Alam naman po natin na mayroong problema ’yong likod niya pero ginagawa niya pa din po para sa show, ’yong actions niya and mga fight scenes niya.”
“Sobrang bilib na bilib po ako kay ate Angel kung gaano siya ka professional.”
