Megastar Sharon Cuneta and daughter Frankie Pangilinan teamed up in defending Senator Kiko Pangilinan from a basher who called him "unggoy" on Twitter.

It started last Saturday, June 6, when a netizen, with the username of @RiospeedP, replied to Frankie's tweet saying "Kiko unggoy".

Instead of answering the basher, Sharon's 19-year old daughter retweeted the basher's comment together with a photo of an old woman that is seemingly suffering from a chest problem .

The senator's daughter also made a follow up tweet pointing out the basher's style of attack as resorting to ad hominem or personal attack rather than giving sound reasoning to the issue at hand.

Yesterday, June 7, Megastar Sharon Cuneta replied to her daughter's tweet and asked her husband's basher to show his or her photo.

"Patingin naman ng pikchur mo," Sharon wrote on her Twitter post. "Tapang mo magsabi ng 'unggoy' eh nakakahiya naman sayo kung kamukha mo si brad pitt o angelina jolie. Awwww..."

Menwhile, another netizen chimed in with  Kiko's basher by suggesting, "diba dapat kiko matsing[?]"

Kiko Matsing, as everyone knows, is one of the prominent characters in Filipino children's literature which is known to be funny yet opportunistic.

Frankie straightforwardly answered the tweet with "[A]ctually dapat kiko pangilinan."

Fans and supporters of the Pangilinans, on the other hand, rallied behind the senator and aired their support.

Senator Kiko is presently among the personalities who is loudly resisting the controversial terror bill. He has just urged the social media giant Facebook to probe the rise of online threats and the surge of fake accounts on the said platform that target critics of the Anti-Terror bill.
