It could be recalled last Sunday, January 5, when Sharon Cuneta sang with her daughters, Frankie and Miel, for a special birthday celebration number on ASAP.

KC Concepcion, Sharon's daughter with Gabby Concepcion, took to Instagram to explain why she was not present during her mom's birthday number, admitting to personal reasons.

"Happy birthday, mama. ❤ I'm sorry I couldn't join the ASAP celebration for personal reasons," KC explained. "We may not be perfect, but in many ways I know how to LOVE you, I have, I do, and I always will. I have done all I can to help you when I could and to make you proud knowing you had me so young."

The actress-host also stressed that she will always do her best for her mother.

Yesterday, January 8, Sharon answered back with a heartfelt three-part Instagram post for KC, thanking her for the heartfelt message and pleaing her to "come home."

In her second post, Sharon said she missed KC during family gatherings, including Christmas Eve dinner, Christmas Lunch, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, and her birthday.

In the third post, Sharon reiterated that she loved and missed KC so much.

During Sharon's special contract signing for ABS-CBN today, Thursday, January 9, she explained further her post.

"Social media is not really a right platform, a good platform to express your personal feelings when you're a public figure," the Mega Star told the press. "But, I was forced to because [...] the greeting that my daughter made with explanations on her absence on my birthday on ASAP."

"It was posted on social media," she further explained. "Like what I wrote on my posts last night, I didn't get a personal message. It's not like her, so nag-aalala ako. Nanay ako, eh. So, I think it's normal lang sa mag-ina na merong panahon na ganyan and I'm worried lang 'cause I don't know what she's going through."

Sharon explained that her three-part post all boils down to a mother missing her daughter.

She then explained how she handles bashers, especially with the bashing she received from her three-part Instagram post, saying she has learned to handle her emotions well, learning from her early experiences on Twitter.

"You have to try to wonder why. So, minsan fans ng iba or 'yong mga die hard ni KC na hindi naiintindihan 'yong dynamics ng isang pamilya," she said. "Meron din sigurong hindi lumaking katulad niyo or iba 'yong pinagdadaanan noong lumalaki, hindi katulad ng mga anak ko [...] so iniintindi ko na lang."
