Nag-front act for the very first time ang 17-year-old daughter ni Sharon Cuneta na si Frankie Pangilinan last August 10 para sa British band na Workshy. Kaya naman sobrang proud ng Megastar who took to Instagram para i-share ang video ng kanyang daughter’s performance.
Kilala ang bandang Workshy for their song "Never the Same" and their cover of Carole King's "It's Too Late."
Ayon kay Sharon, Frankie (or Kakie for short) “did a cover of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie” and a cover of 5SOS’ “Disconnected,” then her own composition called “Starlight” (no not MY song Starlight but a totally different and original version!).”
Mukhang hindi lang good genes ang namana ni Frankie sa kanyang parents, kundi musical inclination din.
Sa iba pang post, sinabi ni Sharon na “moved to tears” sya sa sweet gesture ni Kakie, who offered to give her first concert sweldo to her parents after tithing at church and buying a gift for her dad, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan. Magbi-birthday kasi si Sen. Kiko sa August 24.
Dagdag ng Megastar, “But like I said, just give us 500 pesos each and after tithing and getting Dad his gift, just enjoy the rest of it and spoil yourself. Thank you Kakie my Baba...that was one of the sweetest things anyone’s ever thought of doing for me, for us!”
