Isinilang si Ricardo "Ricky" Lo sa Las Navas, Northern Samar, noong April 21, 1946.

Matapos grumaduate ng AB English sa University of the East ay nagtrabaho si Ricky as an editorial assistant from 1969 to 1972 sa Variety magazine na s’yang Sunday supplement ng old Manila Times.

The show became The Ricky Lo Exclusives noong 2007.

He also joined Startalk as co-host nina Lolit Solis and Joey de Leon noong 2008 hanggang sa mawala sa ere ang show last September 2015.

Naging bahagi rin s’ya ng comedy talk show na CelebriTV, ang pumalit sa Startalk, from 2015 to 2016.

He served as the entertainment editor of The Philippine STAR mula noong July 1986 hanggang nitong May 2021.

You will be missed, Ricky.
