Hindi na daw kalahok sa upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2020/2021 pageant ang isa sa mga itinuturing na frontrunners na si Vickie Rushton, ang nobya ni Kapuso actor Jason Abalos.
Iyan ang nai-tsika ng journalist at beauty pageant correspondent na si Voltaire Tayag sa kanyang Instagram last March 9.
Nag-post kasi ng short clip si Tayag sa kanyang IG kung saan makikita ang mga sash na isusuot ng mga kandidata base sa nire-represent nilang bayan o probinsya.
“Day 2 of the Bb. Pilipinas Photoshoots at the Araneta Coliseum,” sey n’ya sa kanyang IG post.
“Got a chance to catch up with the glam squad Patrick Henry Mergano, Justine Aliman and officisl swimsuit designer Domz Ramos.

Isang pageant fan naman ang nagtanong kahapon, March 10, sa comment section kung kasama pa ba sa competition ang former Pinoy Big Brother housemate na pambato ng Negros Occidental.
“Part pa din po ba ng line up si Vickie sir??” tanong nito. “I saw her sash however based on ABS-CBN latest article someone droppep out because of age limit [sic].”
Tugon naman ni Voltaire sa kanya: “Vickie is no longer in the competition. i think the sashes were just stored, hung altogether and they just get which ones they need.”
Si Vickie ang isa sa heavy favorite candidates ng Pinoy pageant fans na umaasang masusungkit n’ya ang Binibining Pilipinas-International crown at maging kinatawan ng bansa sa Miss International competition sa Japan.
Unfortunately, sa inilabas na announcement ng Miss International Organization last January, tangging 18 to 28 years old candidates na lamang ang papayagan nilang makasali sa kanilang pageant derby.
As of this writing ay wala pang inilalabas na official statement ang kampo ng Filipino-British pageant aspirant, who is turning 29 this May, kung nag-back out na ba talaga s’ya sa Binibining Pilipinas.
