Viva Records continues to unearth some hidden gems for the appreciation of broader music community. Their January 23-28 releases include fresh tracks from Tu$ Brother$, Von Saw, Your Last Stanza, Ezro, and more!
"Isagad" by Tu$ Brother$
Tu$ Brother$ welcome 2022 with their avant-garde track, "Isagad." Their new hip-hop song is in stark contrast from their signature phonk tunes as it offers hyper and mischievous vibe.
The 808-driven "Isagad," which translates to "to reach the limit," showcases the sinister melodies and unique vocal inflections from both of the Tu$ Brother$.
"Mine" by Von Saw
Cebuano singer-songwriter Von Saw’s first self-penned track under Viva Records, "Mine," is a dreamy pop that portrays a couple’s rekindled romance amidst busyness of life. Set in R&B tunes, the track also reminds lovers to always make time for relationships.
"KAPIT" by Your Last Stanza
"KAPIT" literally talks about holding on and keeping a relationship strong. The alternative-folk rock beats of the song provide the perfect sound for its message of “keeping it together.”
"Gandang Pilipina" by Ezro
Ezro flexes the Filipina beauty in this new hip-hop track that also showcases his endearing R&B hooks weaved in techno beats.
"Lulu OST" by Aly Remulla, Pappel, and EMN'98
The newest Vivamax Series Lulu is a girl-meets-girl love story that depicts not only the romance between two souls, but also the empowering outcome of such love.
Aly Remulla sings its key track, "Lulu," which covers the wide range of views and emotions displayed by the characters in the series.
The two other soundtracks are the comforting "Nandito Ako," also by Aly Remulla and Pappel; and "Interlude" by Aly Remulla and EMN'98.
"Silip Sa Apoy OST" by Because and Rob Deniel
How much fire does one need to keep the desire burning? Such question gets answered in the new Vivamax movie, Silip Sa Apoy.
A sizzling movie deserves an equally fiery OST. It found a match in “Sandali” by Because, with lyrics such as these: “Gusto kitang mapasakin kahit na mali..."
And when the fire fizzles out, you have "Ang Rosas" by Rob Deniel to rekindle the heat.
"Deception OST" by Nicole Omillo
To love is to trust, but too much love can blind one's rationality. Such is the theme behind the movie Deception.
Nicole Omillo provides the lovely voice to the soft ballad that depicts the pain of betrayal.
