Kapamilya actress Yassi Pressman has been receiving great amount of support from her sister Issa and other fellow actors for her #staysafetogether bracelets-for-a-cause project.
The Ang Probinsyano leading lady launched her bracelets on her Instagram video on June 9.
There, the actress invited her followers to support the cause by purchasing bracelets, which proceeds will help feed the families affected by the coronavirus disease [COVID-19] pandemic.
"Alam ko po na naging mahirap 'yong mga ang pinagdadaanan natin ngayon dahil sa COVID-19," Yassi explained on her video. "Meron po tayong kalaban na isang virus na hindi po natin nakikita. But from a distance we can all still make a difference."
She further explained, "We built this charity called Stay Safe Together in partnership with Be The Juan PH and with every purchase of our bracelet, we'll be able to feed one family."
Yassi's equally lovely sis, Issa also went to Instagram yesterday, June 13, to help in the online campaign.
"We are safe together," Issa said on her IG post that came with photos of her and Yassi together. "[S]upporting @yassipressman & heart beautiful heart on her campaign called #STAYSAFETOGETHER ~ feeding a family bracelet by bracelet."
Issa went on, "She believes that from a distance we can all still make a difference & I believe that too."
As of this writing, 1,723 bracelets have been sold and fed 1,642 families, based on the staysafe-together.org website.
