Pagkatapos ng hosting stint ni Matteo Guidicelli sa Born To Be A Star, nagpaka-busy pala ang singer/actor/TV host para sa kanyang bagong venture, ang pagpa-podcast.
Tahimik niyang inasikaso, kasama ang kanyang team, ang pagbuo ng mga episodes para sa kanyang podcast na mapapakinggan sa audio streaming app na Spotify starting June 11 and every Fridays thereon at tinawag niya itong MattRuns.
“People will gonna ask, ‘Why MattRuns, Matteo?’ I said to myself, ‘Matteo, you’re an athlete. You run, you like keeping active...’ but this time, we’re sitting down and letting that conversation run. So, it’s unlimited running conversations with Matteo,” panimulang k’wento ni Matteo tungkol sa bago niyang proyekto.
Bagay kay Matteo ang mag-podcast, actually. Bukod sa eloquent at brainy, he’s naturally interested daw in people at may taglay na pagka-matsika na isang bagay na na-observe nga daw sa kanya ni Sarah kaya minsan na siyang nasabihan nito ng: “Love, friend mo ang lahat ’noh?”
This time, mas mailalabas niya ang friendliness at eloquence niya by doing MattRuns at sa sobrang excitement yata ay naka-tape na siya ng ten episodes!
“I’m very, very excited for this,” pag-amin niya. “Marami tayong naka-line up na guests, marami tayong mga guests na na-shoot na, naka-upo na, at nagk’wentuhan na kami. Maraming mga k’wentuhan na sobrang marami akong natutunan kumbaga sa kanila at na-inspire ako sa mga k’wento nila. At sana ma-inspire... para na may matutunan din ’yung mga listeners ko.”
Limiteless daw ang topic—from friendship to lifestyle, from showbiz to other businesses—at hindi lang mga sikat ang p’wedeng mag-guest kundi maging mga taong may inspiring stories—from all walks of life, ika nga.
“We’ve interesting guests from different fields...not necessarily show business. We have some. And we’re going to have more showbiz people but I’d like it to vary ba. Alam mo ’yon, people from different walks of life, people from different industries, and not necessarily sikat or in the limelight...it maybe people [like] an ordinary businessman that built his/her entire from nothing to something incredible. Alam mo ’yon? You learn from things like this di ba?”
However, ayaw pang magbigay ng clue ni Matteo kung sino ang mga naka-line na guests niya, at maging kung sino ang nasa wish-list niyang maging guests dahil daw baka ma-usog pa.
“Marami pa. marami pang naka-line up na wish list ko kumbaga. So, naka-lista naman lahat yan sa mga producers ko. Hindi ko muna sasabihin baka hindi mangyari, e. Pero ’yon sana mangyari ’yon but as of now, we’ve shot around ten episodes already...so, ready to show you, guys, on Spotify. We’re ready to show our listeners or viewers on our show.”
When asked kung may topic ba siyang iiwasan kung sakali...
“Wala pa naman. If ever meron it would be nice to talk about it diba? If there is a topic that would be uncomfortable for me it would be nice to actually sit down and talk about it, diba?
Ang MattRuns is being co-produced by Viva and his and his wife Sarah’s very own G Productions. At dahil nanganganay kumbaga, pre-recorded daw muna ang mga episodes niya but his vision is to someday do it live.
“Sometime in the future hopefully we can setup a way to do it live... it’s one of my visions for the show... one day but right now dahil we’re still bago pa, experimental stage pa, so we do it recorded–recorded but un-edited.”
Sa restaurant niyang Trattoria Da Gianni ginaganap ang bawat episodes dahil gusto raw niyang kumportable ang mga guests niya.
“My set is in my restaurant, sa [Trattoria] Da Gianni. So, the podcast is very organic... real conversations. Maybe if kung gutom ka while talking you can order food, have a pizza while talking to me, have coffee or our drinks. So. It’s very, very spontaneous and real.”
Mag-ge-guest kaya si Misis G?
“Kahit hindi mag-guest, nandu’n naman s’ya palagi,” natatawang tsika ni Matt. “Pero sana one day mag- guest rin s’ya.”
