After the sexy-thriller Nerisa, fast-rising sexy-dramatic actor Sean De Guzman is once again paired up with the equally daring AJ Raval, this time for what’s tagged as the “pinaka-sugapang pelikula ng taon,” Taya.
Taya, directed by Adan director Roman Perez, Jr., highlights the underground online syndicates that run gambling and prostitution ring.
Here, Sean plays a testosterone-filled college student who’s lusting over a prostitute (Jela Cuenca), who is among the coveted “prizes” in one online gambling game. He betted for her. A neophyte in the dark web, he unknowingly betted for another girl, AJ Raval, who in turn becomes his “prize.”
Sean’s character’s lust for AJ’s character turns to love. He will thus attempt to “save” her from the grips of her criminal bosses.
This movie, which promises lots of sizzles and thrills, will start streaming on August 27 on ktx.ph, iWant TFC, IPTV, and Vivamax.
