For three days, Bench Fashion Week Holiday 2019 exhibited ensembles, designs, and collaborations that feature the unique creativity of Filipinos.
On Day 1, actress and congresswoman Lucy Torres-Gomez presented her beautiful collaboration with Kashieca while Bench and designer Patty Ang showcased some sweet alternatives from the usual get-ups. The night concluded with designer Albert Andrada’s use of white and ivory garments aesthetically pleased with the eyes of viewers, marrying the classic and the modern.
Day 2 consisted of streetwear brand Human whose collection of denim, plaid, and camouflage wowed the audience big time. The audience also saw Bench collaborate with another international designer, this time Willy Chavarria, whose real man’s man outfits like the denim jackets and rugged jeans really redefining the meaning of streetwear. Japanese fashion designer Mihara Yasuhiro ended the night with his take of urban Japan!
The 3rd and last day was reserved for the Bench Design Awards with Antonina Amoncio of Anoto, Bon Hansen Reyes, and Jace Quiambao bagging the distinct honor in showing their designs with Bench at the Rakuten Fashion Week in Tokyo, Japan in October 2019.
