The starmaker, known in showbiz circles as Mr. M, celebrated his 72nd birthday over the weekend with a simple get-together attended by some of today's most recognizable faces in Philippine showbiz.
The film director/talent manager, whose actual birthday was on February 11, turned up for a night of music and good fun with many of his Star Magic "alagas" at Tomatito, a Spanish tapas and paella restaurant in Bonifacio Global City.
Singer Nyoy Volante took on guitarist duties as Janella Salvador, Iñigo Pascual, Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales, Sam Milby, Joshua Garcia, and Piolo Pascual took turns singing their hearts out on the mic.
Also present at the star-studded event were Maymay Entrata, Maja Salvador, Angelica Panganiban, and Kathryn Bernardo among many other stars whose careers have largely been shaped by Mr. M.
