Maria star Cristine Reyes turned 30 last February and she celebrated it with her sisters Ara Mina and Heidi in Thailand. She says she wanted a simple celebration this year so she just treated herself to a well-deserved vacation.
Cristine arrived back in Manila on February 9 and headed straight to the Viva Films office to fulfill her obligations for the movie, Untrue, which pairs her up for the first time with Xian Lim.
It was during Untrue’s story conference that day that pikapika.ph got hold of Cristine, who told us a short tsika about her Thailand vacation.
“Nag-beach lang kami and kumain lang kami nang kumain ng maraming Thai food,” laughs Cristine. “Me mga na-discover akong bagong islands do’n na ang ganda.”
When asked whether they stayed in Phuket, a well-known beach destination in that country, Cristine says they preferred Koh Samui and Kho-Pha ngan. Cristine said the name of the last island in Thai accent and her accuracy delighted everyone.
