Konnichiwa!
Buongiorno!
It’s a Japan-meets-Italy day as Botejyu, Japan’s premier specialty restaurant from Osaka, opens its 50th store at the Venice, Italy-themed Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Hill, Taguig City.
The event, hosted by Marco Gallo and Wilbert Ross, was attended by some 50 Viva stars—old and new—including Andre Yllana, Ara Mina, Debbie Garcia, Fros Sandoval, Katya Santos, Andrea del Rosario, Patricia Javier, Phoebe Walker, McCoy de Leon, Lara Morena, Lyca Gairanod, Andrew Muhlach, Juami Gutierrez, Ava Mendez, Lance Raymundo, Jehramae Trangia, Migo Valid, Valfer Alo, Jiad Arroyo, Quinn Carillo, Ronnie Liang, members of the PPop Generation, and more!
These stars needed to ride the iconic grand canal gondolas in order to get to the stage that's been set up at the central canal.
Executives of Viva, Viva International Food Restaurant, Inc. (the food division of Viva), Botejyu, and the McKinley Hill Estate also graced the milestone event.
Lyca Gairanod opened the program with a song number, her own impressive rendition of Adelle's "Rolling in the Deep" (with rap portion). It was followed by the ceremonial Okosaba cutting and sake toast.
In his short speech, Viva International Food Restaurant, Inc.'s head VR del Rosario says: “We are inspired now, more than ever, to continuously bring safe, quality and healthy Japanese comfort food as far as we can."
And by that he means Visayas and Mindanao in the coming years as they target to put up 36 more stores.
Omedetō gozaimasu, Botejyu!
Congratulazioni!
