Top local men’s site AOmnl has already predicted that angel-faced Angeli Khang may well be Viva’s next Joyce Jimenez.
After introducing her in the psychedelic sexy thriller Taya, Angeli will soon grace your Vivamax screen via her debut starrer, Mahjong Nights.
Here, the daring Angeli is pitted against acting veterans Jay Manalo and Mickey Ferriols, as well as with the relatively newbie, Sean De Guzman.
Mahjong Nights, says Angeli, became uso during the pandemic, not just online but also among small groups that gather in one’s home.
In the story, Angeli is the only daughter of Ester (Mickey), who organizes mahjong nights party to escape from her dysfunctional marriage with Leo (Jay), who in turn, sexually and physically abuses the meek Alexa (Angeli), who in turn finds solace in the arms of the young driver (Sean) of one of the mahjongeras.
All these hidden desires and hidden truths, if revealed, will ruin not just their Mahjong games, but also their lives.
Mahjong Nights starts streaming on Vivamax on November 12 (Friday).
