Last August 14, 2019, Viva actress Ella Cruz went home to her hometown in Bustos, Bulacan to lead the formal opening of her new business venture, Tea Tops Milk Tea + Everything store.
A K-Pop fan, Ella made sure she incorporated a lot of K-Pop elements in her pink-and-torquiose store that also offers—not just milk tea—chewable snacks, arcade games, and a Z-culture shop (that sells Funko pops among others).
“Kaya may plus everything sa title,” explains Ella. “And since K-Pop fan ako, maraming kaming K-Pop elements...we have a TV screen where they can watch K-pop music videos...Tapos, meron kaming flavors called the K-Pop series, so may Black Pink, BTS, XO...”
The Cinemalaya 2019 best supportive actress (for Edward) spent the whole day inter-acting and having selfies with customers. At some point, she also took orders and shouted for customers’ names. Her supportive boyfie, Julian Trono was there, too. And he made sure he captured everything on his video camera.
