It was back in 2016 when viewers were introduced to a handsome Fil-Brit boy in the show Pinoy Big Brother: Lucky 7.

At first, Edward Barber was timid and silent, but as the show progressed, he became one of the season's must-see housemates with his charm and sense of camaraderie, especially from moments he shared with fellow housemates Marco Gallo and Yong Muhajil and the kilig times he has spent with Maymay Entrata.

His interactions with the latter became so popular that they became the now-powerhouse love team known as MayWard. They would enjoy success as a love team inside and outside the Big Brother house, including getting their first lead role in film with the rom-com Loving In Tandem back in 2017 and having supporting roles in the Kim Chiu-led comedy-horror film Da One That Ghost Away and the comedy-fantasy Fantastica starring Vice Ganda, both in 2018.

The Germany-raised actor would also enjoy going solo, appearing in supporting roles in the movies Seven Sundays and First Love. He also bagged the lead role in the series Hiwaga Ng Kambat alongside Grae Fernandez.

Now, Edward would find himself in a new opportunity to shine in front of the cameras in the form of hosting. He currently serves as a VJ for the music channel MYX Philippines and a host on the digital show iWant ASAP.
